Permanent makeup (PMU) is also known as semi-permanent make up, microblading or eyebrow embroidery. This is a cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance facial features. The pigments that are used are designed to fade over several years , so to keep your PMU fresh, a colour boost top up is recommended every 1-3 years.

 

Microblading specifically focuses on eyebrows. Natural-looking hairstrokes are created using a handheld tool with fine needles that deposit pigment into the skins epidermis. 

 

Other eyebrow styles and semi-permanent lip blush are created using a tattoo machine. Semi-permanent pigment is deposited through the machine creating a soft pixelated affect.
